Description PSR-500C/600C CPU Firmware 1.8 upgrade. NOTE: This is for the CANADIAN versions (500C/600C) ONLY. Unzip the contents of the zip file to a convenient folder on your hard drive (e.g., Desktop). Follow the PDF instructions to upgrade your radio's firmware.

CPU firmware version 1.8 provides the following enhancements to your PSR-500C/PSR-600C trunked scanning receiver:

-Adds patch support for P25, Motorola and EDACS trunking

-Changes CCDump type string to "EDn" if "narrow invert" is turned on

-Corrects LCD “mirror image” issue
