GRE - A beta release of PSR-500 "DSP U02" Firmware has been released due to bug found in U01. Please be advised this is still a Beta Release only. We would like to get as much feedback as possible to help us find any known issues before an official Firmware update is released. Your feedback and support would greatly be appreciated.

GRE - A beta release of PSR-500 CPU and DSP Firmware has been released. Please be advised that this is a Beta Release only. We would like to get as much feedback as possible to help us find any known issues before an official Firmware update is released. Your feedback and support would greatly be appreciated.

"CPU500_U01" (Beta) Release Note Fixes.
  
 -Fixed: EDACS will no longer trunk to encrypted (Pro-Voice) calls
 
 -Fixed: Properly display SiteID for M36 in trunking analysis mode (SiteID was
  previously one too low in number)

 -Fixed: Pressing ATT at power-up, changing the setting, then saving will now
  preserve the new value

 -Fixed: P25 dwell timeout when not holding/paused

 -Fixed: Mot3600 CC dwell timeout when receiving RF SQ but no CC messages

 -Fixed: RF Squelch timers on CCs. Should fix cases where CC could not be
  found

 -Fixed: Monitoring of DG signals in Tune mode (would pulse the audio every
  few seconds)

 -Improved: Unmuting on start of DG calls

 -Improved: Less falsing of Mot subaudible detect in Tune mode

 -Fixed: When paused while scanning, better handle changing CCs

 -Improved: PC/IF remote control presents the radio's speaker mute state
  within more real time

Bulletin Release - 11/02/2007 - 

GRE - It has been brought to our attention that some new owners of the GRECOM PSR-500 Advanced Digital Scanner are experiencing problems with the radio's ability to properly decode P25 digital signals in some areas.

Our engineers are currently working hard towards identifying and resolving this issue and a Firmware update will be available to resolve some of these issues related to P25 signals. 

Note: All PRS-500 Advanced Digital Scanners are Firmware Upgradeable. Any future Firmware release or updates, will be available at our site http://www.greamerica.com/support. A user-friendly utility will also be available to help users update their PSR-500 to the latest version.

Currently there is no firm ETA on Firmware release. Once we have identified and resolved these issues, we will post updated Firmware release on our site. 

We appreciate everyone’s feedback and support and ask you be patient with us until we find and resolve these technical issues.
